The August -ing List

Here is a fun collage I made with photos from my garden for the Phone Photography project at BPC this last July. Now that the class is over, I decided to blog which I haven't done in a very long time.

I have wanted to make one of these lists that I have seen so many bloggers do, and since I needed something to get me blogging again, I thought this would be the perfect time to try it. Maybe I will do this quarterly, or monthly or......

So here is my first ever -ing list.

working on keeping my yard in shape for the last few weeks of summer.

watching Extreme Weight Loss for some encouragement.

listening to country music for the summer.

trying to eat healthy 6 days a week.

preparing mentally for rain and cold weather.

loving our 80 degree weather in the PNW.

revisiting scrapbooking after 2 months break.

continuing to drink my morning coffee outside in the sun.

wanting to get the house really clean and organized.

laughing at Emily watching the Bachelorette.

brainstorming some redecorating ideas.

re-organizing my laundry room.

enjoying my patio this summer

2012 December Daily

Tonight I finished my December Daily. Thanks to Shimelle Lane and her Journal Your Christmas Class, I had lots of ideas for stories and thoughts throughout the Christmas season. This is always a joy to make. I love reading the older ones I have made. This is my 7th book. I decided to do the full month of December this year instead of stopping on December 25th.

Whole_Book

CoverI used October Afternoon 2011 paper that I received too late last year to use for my last years book.

Inside_titleI added a Subway art that I liked and played with washi tape and stamps for the title page.

The last page is an envelope with notes to myself for next year. I put everything from where to find real tangerines, to ideas for stories in my DD and even card ideas!

So there you have it. My December Daily done until next year. Each year I am sure I love this one the most, and this year is not an exception!

My October Excitement!

Today is the day!

Today I start my guest design gig for the month of October at Memorable Seasons They asked me to design some layouts with some of the great stuff from their store. They sent me some Bo Bunny- detour Collection to play with, and I have been having so much fun. I love the papers so much that I wanted to get as many layouts as possible. I was able to get 4 layouts a card and a minibook made for my daughter as a gift. Well techniquely the mini is not finished but I have enough done to give you a peak. So here is a look at three of my layouts and a peak at the minibook. Check back later in the month for the last two creations.
First is Pit Stop when Amy did the Mud Run for St Judes Hospital and the second one is a beach scene from our last trip to Hawaii

3rd my daughters mini
4th  a lo about having fun as a family
