Slipping.....

While I have been super busy with the new automated chemisty line at work and my Big Picture Scrapbooking Class I am taking at home, I decided to stop and do a layout that I have wanted to do since last summer. Ever since I went to see the movie 'Mama Mia' I have just loved the song "Slipping Through My Fingers" I don't ever remember that song when it was popular, but now everytime I hear it it reminds me how my girls are growing up and slipping away from me! It has really hit me this year as Emily moved into her first place with a bunch of girlfriends. Sure I am paying the rent, but she has always been the child who made me laugh and smile and more and more I have no idea what is happening in her life! This song seems to be written just for me! So I found a few of the fun pictures of my "funny little girl" and put them together with these lyrics! Emily thinks I am crazy--but that makes it all the more bittersweet! Here is my attempt to freeze the pictures of time--I love you Emily!

Here are three more of the fun pictures I have taken this week. These are my favorites from Sunday-Tuesday!! I love the one of Bob and Marian. Bob reached out and touched Marian just as I snapped the photo. It is so cute the way it cares and takes good care of her! The middle one is another indication that fall is here--I am headed to work in the dark! And finally the top one is of my work. It is about as creative as I get there--love the way the orange stripes are all stacked up--ok, so I am slightly crazy--but we already knew that! Enjoy your weekend!
